it goes a little something like this…

We start our journey together asking a few questions of one another to see if we are a good fit. We do this through a complimentary 15 minute consultation.

 

Once you decide that you would like to schedule a session with me, you pay the retainer for the session that you would like. I do not charge up front for images, as I want you to see your images before you commit to purchasing them and invest only in the images that you absolutely love!

 

I send you all of your documentation and service agreements with me, and begin the design process. I will send you a series of questionnaires and shared resources so that we can easily collaborate on our project.

 

The big day arrives! If additional services are included in your session such as professional hair and makeup, masseuse, or lunch, we will have all of that ready for you. Just walk in and enjoy the experience!

 

The editing process takes roughly 2-3 weeks to complete all of your images. If you signed a model release, we will be able to release sneak peaks of your session images on our WEBSITE AND SOCIAL MEDIA accounts for you to see while you wait! During this time, we will schedule your Gallery Reveal and Product Selection Appointment.

 

At your Gallery Reveal and Product Selection Appointment, you will view your completed, fully-edited gallery. At this 60 minute consultation, you will be able to select and purchase the images that you love and the packages that are best suited to your selections. You will have the opportunity to discuss options for wall art, albums, and folio boxes, view and touch samples of each, and select your customizations for each product.

SESSION RETAINERS

Session retainers are non-refundable fees that reserve your place on our Calendar. This pays the photographer and team for our time in scheduling, consulting, designing, shooting, and editing your session. The retainer ensures that nobody else is booked in your place and the appropriate time is allotted to you to ensure you are receiving the best possible service.

Questions & Answers

Do you offer discounts for maternity + newborn sessions?

YES! When booked together, Maternity & Newborn sessions are $500, saving you $100. You can save even more when you book one of our grow with me packages!

when should I book my newborn session?

Newborn sessions take a good amount of design and planning, not to mention they arrive on their schedule, not ours! the general rule when it comes to securing your newborn session is the earlier the better, but it is usually safest not to wait any later than 2 months prior to your due date to schedule to ensure availability.

WE DON'T KNOW WHAT TO WEAR TO OUR SESSION. CAN YOU HELP?

ABSOLUTELY! For family and children's sessions, we will work with you on selecting the perfect coordinating outfits for each of you. Maternity and Newborn clients have access to our client wardrobe, so we do your styling for those sessions. Boudoir clients have a fun mixture of both, as well as the added guidance of professionals in women's intimate wear to assist.

DOES THE SESSION RETAINER INCLUDE IMAGES?

No, the retainer is to block off others from reserving the time slot that you selected on our calendar. It covers our time in consulting with you, designing and photographing your session, editing your images, and our gallery reveal and product selection appointment. keeping the product cost separate allows our clients the ability to purchase only the images that they love without the obligation of paying for the entire gallery.

Is the retainer fee refundable?

No, it is not - however it may be applied as a credit toward your client account with us to be used toward a future session or products and packages when cancelled in accordance with our cancellation policy. Cancellations before 14 days prior to your session will apply 100% of your session retainer to your client account. If cancelled within the 14 day window of your session, 50% of your session retainer will be credited to your client account. If you fail to show up to your session, you will forfeit the entire session retainer.
